IF YOU'RE A MENTOR OR WILL SOON BE ONE, YOU NEED TO READ THIS.

Dear Mentors,
I know that to many, you will be a light, they will see you as that version of themselves they want to be. I know your works, How you pour yourself into your proteges and mentees, sometimes you're taken for granted.
You deal with people
with different temperament and mind capabilities, some will learn faster from you and the others might learn slower that it makes you tired.
Oh you thought I didn't know that being a mentor is stressful most times.
Some days you will want to give up and take a rest but you'll remember that people will need you and you can't afford to fail them and God. Cause you know that in your improvement and development lies the blessings of many.
You know how a pregnant woman has to avoid stress, certain meals and drinks for the sake of her unborn Child. Not just the child but also for the sake of the lives depending on that Child. Imagine Moses Mother abandoning him to the crocodiles at River Nile unsupervised. Scripture said they knew he was a beautiful Child.
Jesus spent 3 years with his disciples and almost at the point of death. One slashed an enemy's ear(what happened to the be-attitudes), the other wanted to see the Father (what happened to the Lord's prayer) while one doubted his resurrection (What happened to the teaching of Faith)
Was Jesus disappointed? Yes. But he wasn't discouraged. Peter converted 8,000 souls, Philip discovered the Father and overthrew Samaria for the Father. And Thomas took the gospel to India. It takes Faith to do that.
Dear mentors, I know I've written a lot but who would have thought that Paul would ask for Johnmark, it takes tolerance and patience to birth greatness in men. Jesus knew this. Probably why God waits until we are dead to Judge us. For he knows our frame and that we are created on his image. AND HE KNOWS HIS IMAGE HAS GREATNESS IN ITS DNA.
If you found value. Let me know and kindly share
