Love In The Time Of Quarantine

Image
By Mark Mason  CEO  for MotherF*cking Monday   Email Newsletter supply...  This week, we’re talking: 1) love in the time of quarantine, 2) opportunity in isolation, and 3) irrationality in times of high stress. Let’s get into it.  1. Love in the time of quarantine -  As we all buckle into our living rooms for the long haul, a particularly foreboding (or hilarious, depending on your perspective) piece of news has been making the rounds. Apparently,  divorce rates shot up  in parts of China as the quarantine was lifted, in some cases maxing out the capacity of the government to process them.  Of course, this could have simply been because the government offices had been closed for over a month and there was pent up demand. Or, perhaps when forced to be together 24/7 for a month straight, people realized they couldn’t stand each other.  The data on whether close proximity to a partner for an extended period of time is mixed.

You should try this...

Recently, I had a chat with one of the members in my private program who is facing an interesting problem with his new business. According to his vision and masterplan, he wanted to develop a 50-hectare integrated rice farm – based on a hybrid rice variety. But according to realit

Run Without Shame

By Oluwole Oyewole One of the problems I fought with myself when I was young was inferiority complex. I had this victim mentality that conditioned my thinking to believe that if I was born another way I would have become a better man. This inferior complex made me to accept things the way they were without working on myself and defining my own life. It took me time to understand that individuals are meant to run their own race either with an advantage or a disadvantage in life. The world we are living right now is a world where people appear before you everyday to prove that they have made it in life. It's a world where individuals are using the social media to show off their skills, gifts, talents and success. Either genuine or fake, it shouldn't become a burden to you. One of the ways to escape this inferiority complex is to focus on your own lane. You don't have to be ashamed of your life, home or your business. Your business is your business. It's not abou
