According to the dictionary, Assumption is the act of taking for granted or supposing a thing without proof;a supposition; an unwarrantable claim. 


In a world like ours, where there seem to be a lot of information going round these days , its very easy to assume certain things even when not proven true. 


Wrong assumptions basically are fuelled by what you see on the out side (physically). You are moved by what you either see or hear even without proper investigations most times . 


Wrong assumptions bring about destroyed relationships, chaos, confusion, distrust, hate, enmity, guilt, pain,frustration and the likes . 


In order to avoid wrong assumptions, you should try these:


< Always ask questions. Never assume you know it all. Seek for the right information 'FACT' (Truth). Like the saying" Person way ask question no dey lost ". 


< Place yourself in that situation: Before assuming a particular issue or situation, imagine you being the object to be assumed about and examine the feeling you get. 


Remember, assumptions are costly; gather the facts first before conclusion.
