The Power Of A Little Organization

Hi – Friend

The Power Of  A Little Organization

By  Carthage Buckley here,

Years ago, I worked with as a labourer to a window fitter.

There were several issues and, I couldn’t really tolerate the guy.

However, there was one thing I really admired about the guy.

He was incredibly organised.

He had all the tools he needed for both window fitting and carpentry; as he was a carpenter by trade.

He could step into his van and put his hand on anything he needed within seconds.

At the end of every day’s work, he wouldn’t leave until every item was back in its rightful place.

At first it seemed like a pain, but I quickly saw that when we arrived on site each day; we could get working quickly because everything was where it was supposed to be.

This is what organisation does for you.

You can keep on top of everything.

While the carpenter was able to keep on top of his tools and supplies; you can use organisation to keep on top of your tasks and projects.

By knowing where you are with each of the tasks and projects you have committed to, you can make quick decisions about what you should do next.

You can keep moving through your day and your work; safe in the knowledge that everything is under control.

Sure, it takes a little time to maintain your organisation; it used to cost the window fitter 15-20 minutes every evening.

However, you more than make that time back when don’t have to stop after every task to figure out where you are and, what you need to do next.

If your time management is not up to scratch; you may need to improve your organisation.

If this is the case, this great resource will certainly help you:

The Organised Mind
