Want To Feel Moltivated Whenever?

By Leon  from lifehack

I've mentioned that Motivation comes from having a clear intention and purpose in your life.

That is the core of how your Motivation engine runs, and is also the key to generating motivation that comes from within you, and not relying on external rewards, compliments or encouragement that may not always be available when you need it.

So now that you've found your purpose, the next step is to start generating a constant flow of motivation to achieve that purpose!

And there are 2 steps that you can take to create Actionable Motivation on Demand.

This means being able to find motivation even during the tough periods when you might not be feeling focused, not feeling excited about certain actions that you need to take in order to achieve your goals.

There will be days where you're in a lull and you need that extra boost of motivation.

And where can you find that?

But if you're able to generate motivation whenever it's needed, you'll always be able to push progress and be a step closer to achieving the goals you set out whether at work or in your personal life.

So how can you do that?

The first step, is to set achievable goals on your own terms. And you can do so, by creating a Progression Stairway.A Progression Stairway is a path that you set for yourself to hit your goal, and each step is aimed at making progress, getting you closer to your ultimate goal every time.

The key is that each step should be clear and distinct.

You know exactly what you need to do, how much you need to do it, and why. And most importantly, in a Progression Stairway, the steps you set are all based on your own pace and on your own terms.

The way to do this is to set goals aimed at growth. What this simply means, is that the goals you set should not be defined by a specific outcome. Because if for some reason the result doesn’t match it, then you'll feel like you’ve failed.

An outcome is static and in the past, so if you didn't achieve that outcome, then you can't change it.

But now, if you emphasize on growth, it's something that is always in motion. That means there will always be something that you can do, actions to follow up with and things to improve.

This puts the emphasis on ideas and potential for progress!

And as long as you keep finding ways to improve it, you’ll be succeeding with this goal.

Another thing to note when setting goals, is to make sure that they align to your North Star - which is essentially your purpose.

You can also use the SMART goal setting method to ensure that the goals you set are achievable.

Having lots and lots of these goals creates your Progression Stairway. And this brings us to the next step, which is taking easy actions to get results.

Setting goals are easy, but carrying them out can be tough.

So to make it easy, you can use a Divide and Conquer approach, split between 4 different ways to Focus, each with their own strategy.

The first is Practicing for Progress, which is deliberately moving the needle by accumulating tiny measurable changes.

Next is Finding a New Solution, where you use a systematic Superstructure Method to find an ideal solution for something you want to discover.

Third, is Executing for Efficiency.

This is all about Scheduling and Time boxing to maximize the efficiency when executing already known tasks.

And lastly, we have Learning New Knowledge.

This focus involves actively engaging with the information to extract new actionable knowledge that’s relevant to you.

With these focus strategies, converting your motivational energy into concrete and effective actions should become second nature!

Now you might be wondering what all these strategies are, and how to apply them to your goals...

I don't want to overwhelm you with too much information all at once, and that is why I've created an entire course dedicated to showing you exactly how you can master and apply these skills to generate motivation on demand.

It's called the Actionable Motivation on Demand Course, and I guarantee you're going to have so much to take away from this course.

So if you're sick of feeling demotivated and not knowing where you're heading, then this is your chance to learn how to ignite that flame of motivation within you again...this time without it ever burning out.
