A little secret- for Resellers
Written by Chimezie Augustine
Secret you don't know about business is this,
There are custormers on your list or timeline who have probably seen a picture of a product you have posted before and they liked it and wanting to get it from you, but due to some little set back and no pressure applied on them to want to make them buy it. Then they just forget about the product like that.
*Why?*;
-because there wasn't any driving force that's persuasive enough to want to make them give out their hard earned money to you in exchange for that product
-most buyers or custormers don't know what they want. It's your responsibility to make them see value in what you are offering them and why they should buy it( have you ever been to the market without having the intention of buying anything but then you end up buying one or two things from the market even when you never had it in mind to or planned to get that stuff, sometimes you might even see something and even if you don't have money at the moment, you try to borrow or get money at every means just to buy that particular stuff. That's what I'm talking about ( I remembered going to the market with no single intension to buy anything, but one crazy igbo guy draged me to his shop and I almost ran into debt buying all sorts of stuffs from him) Spirit of persuasion. The more reason most igbo people are good in doing business ( they know you don't know what you want at times. So they make you see things that you should want and you end up falling for that stuff)
- another one is repeatition or what I call consistency. Wen a customer who once has interest in buying a particular product continue to see that product over and over again, he/she will end up purchasing that product one day. That's the power of consistency. It's normal human psychology that's been applied in business too.
-another is the power of testimonies or feedback. Never underrate that. Most custormers will buy a product because other people are buying them. People will patronize you when they see other people patronizing you. Nobody wants to be the first to try out a new product or a new restaurant. That's normal psychology .
