Learning Is Very Important
LEARNING IS VERY IMPORTANT
Written By Mercy Andrew
No, it does not as far as what you gain will improve you.
When I began my content writing classes, I kept following my coach's updates.
They were all excellent, challenging and encouraging.
But the one that captured my mind most was, she posted about a 15-year-old boy who has and is still doing well in the writing field.
I then wondered why my coach is looking up to this small boy and wanting to get to his position and even more.
Is this not surprising?
Imagine your teacher/ lecturer wanting to be like a 15-year-old boy in his field or career.
Now, it is a clash of your field and age.
You are neither gonna drop your age and go after the younger person that has more than you have
Or, you will keep your age glue to pride and ego and remain the way you are.
If the 15, 16, 20...year old boy/girl from your field knows and understand it better than you do, it is never a crime to go learn under them.
Gone are the days where this saying worked "what an old man sees while sitting down, a young man can't see if he climbs the highest iroko tree"
The above saying doe not work for every situation nowadays.
For example, you are a photographer, you need to get along and know the latest equipment, styles and fashion for every event in order to bring out the uniqueness of you customers.
If you should maintain the olden days photography practices, I guess fewer or no persons will patronize you.
LEARNING IS VERY IMPORTANT
Do not sit and say this is how " I am used to my thing"
It is not longer your thing.
Many people are now practicing that your thing.
Do not be deceived by outdated quotes, pride, and ego.
Go out, learn and get the latest and legit ideas to improve your skill and business.
Note: it doesn't matter who you learn from as far as that learning will improve you positively.
