The Best Environment For Learning

Hi Friend,

I've noticed something strange about learning.

And I want to share that with you.

I always thought that being in a familiar environment facilitates learning.

And that a new environment can only be a distraction.

But in 2019, I decided to invest some money in stocks and I had to first educate myself about the stock market.

So I bought some books.

At first, I was reading them only at my house.

I was, of course, making some notes and trying to figure out as much as possible.

But one day I decided to try something else.

I went to a public library.

The other day, I went into a local café.

And I noticed that my retention has improved in those couple of days.

I almost didn't have to look at my notes.

After that, I continued to search for new places where I can read books.

I don't know if it really works or not.

Why?

Simply because I can't be in two places at the same time to test this.

And I don't have any scientific facts to back it up.

But I believe I might be onto something.

Because here's the thing...

It might be that our brain is more receptive to new information when we find ourselves in a new environment.

However, I know one thing.

The speed at which you learn CAN be increased.

You don't have to struggle.
