THE POWER OF COMMUNICATION

Image
THE POWER OF COMMUNICATION Writer By Merry Paul  I was on my way to Utako from Berger( Areas in the FCT) the cab I boarded had an audio tape playing. It was Reverend Father Nbaka that was ministering. I don't know much about him except that He's quite a political preacher. But in the midst of his teaching he said something mind blowing and super remarkable. *"Anything you stop communicating will die "* Although he was talking about fanning the flames of our prayer life(communication with God), I realized that it could also be applicable in our relationship with anybody. While growing up, we all had best buddies, we thought we will be best friends forever, then suddenly we got admission into different higher institutions, got exposed to different friends, believe systems and ideologies; then gradually those who used to be our best friends become strangers. Why? *Because by virtue of the new environment, believe systems and ideologies we both got exposed to which were

How Much Are Distraction Causing You?  Content  Writer By Leon From LifeHack You know, we all have limited time.  However, most people treat it like if it was infinite. You get home, and immediately go watch your favorite TV show on Netflix. Then, you see what your friends are up to on Instagram. You tell yourself it won't be long. Just a couple of minutes and that's it. Then, you look at the clock. That's when you realize you just spent the last two hours of your time. This situation repeats itself every day. What you haven't realized yet is how much these distractions are costing you... Let's do the math. 2 hours per day means 14 hours per week, 56 hours a month, and 672 in a year. What does it mean you use all that time on useless distractions? You get left behind. Remember life moves fast. Your boss won't be waiting until you get the skills you need to be more efficient. He'll just hire someone else. Your family won't be always looking to spend tim

What Does "Ocean's Twelve" Teach Us

Image
Hi Friend , What Does "Ocean's Twelve" Teach Us By Leon CEO  For  Lifehack Remember the movie "Ocean's Twelve," where they tried to figure out who's "THE BEST" by stealing a Faberge egg? Let's be honest; we were all impressed by this scene of Francois Toulour brought to life by Vincent  Cassel. He was a professional. He built up a brilliant plan and even realized it. He would've won, if not one small detail... The egg  was traveling in a backpack. As you look at people who have built a successful and long-lasting business  you will often find that they're not the smartest ones in the room and even not the most skilled  at what they produce. ..... This is the virgin girl that did it But there is one thing that differs them: although they see the big  picture, they never Understatement  the importance of details . FOCUS  is what makes it happen. You can hire the best professionals globally for all other areas of your business, but yo

What Is Normal Anyway?

Image
By Mark Manson  for Mother F*cking  Monday  Let’s get into it.  1. "Will things ever return to normal?" ...depends on what "normal" is  -   When something thwarts our expectations, we tend to react in one of two ways: anger and/or sadness.  What determines that anger or sadness is whether we believe our loss was within somebody’s control or not. If we believe it was preventable or controllable, then we get angry. If we believe it was unpreventable, then we get sad. For instance, if I’m dead set on watching Bob Ross   reruns this morning, and I find my wife hogging the TV, chances are I will get pissed off at her. After all, she’s responsible for my ruined expectations. But let’s say I find out that  The Joy of Painting  was inexplicably cancelled everywhere on earth yesterday, then I will become deeply, deeply sad.   These two human responses, anger and sadness, are coalescing into their own little camps in resp

WHEN YOU STOP PRAYING...

Believing In This Made Steve Jobs A Success

Image
By Leon From Lifehack The late Steve Jobs is one of the most successful individuals in Silicon Valley.. even till today. 🥓🕊🦆🦅 And it's no wonder. He had very high expectations, not just for others but for himself. He always challenged himself, and the people around him to work smarter, work longer, and work harder so he, and they, could accomplish everything they dreamed possible. Jobs also believed in the power of asking for help, and that everyone had the opportunity to make a mark in their future. But one of the most important beliefs he had, was in the fundamental power of belief itself—and of using that belief to motivate and inspire. " You can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something—your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life." - Ste
