Why Do You Think They Recommend Books For Their Team Members?  Written By Daniel Adebayo, A  Content Writer Strategist  I remembered Early 2015 when I struggled to read I will wake up by 5 AM hoping to read for at least an hour before going for lectures. Between 5 am - 6 am, honestly, I won't know how I still slept off. Though I was not happy, but I keep at it, most times I will read in the evening for an hour. Until I met Fasola Victor and Awoleke Damilola, that was when I was highly Motivated   to read I'm a person that loves to be influenced positively, when I see them reading, I usually felt the urge to do the same. And later I was so deliberate about it I also listen to some powerful messages by Bishop David Oyedepo (an excellent reader) I attended a PBN conference where Pastor Olusegun Lana said something that opened my eyes, I'll paraphrase it, he said, "the mysteries behind reading is that you are getting the secrets of mistakes and successes of entrepreneurs w

File Good Memories!

FILE GOOD MEMORIES! Written By Wisdom Alexander  A young lady confessed of how frustrated she was after missing out on a great opportunity that came her way. It was a campus beauty contest, where each contestant was to show off their beauty and their level of intelligence too! The prize allotted for the winner and the runner-ups was too good enough for any contestant to want to miss out on. Unfortunately, this lady never came close to winning. She wasn't even among the runner-ups. Her case was just like what king Solomon described in the bible book of Proverbs:  'Hope deferred makes the heart sick' Indeed, her high hopes of winning the prize were dashed in pieces. As she left that event sulking, thoughts begins to pour into her mind that rejuvenated her: 1. Even if I didn't win the prize, at least I won the privilege of making great friends and learning new things! 2. Even if I didn't win the prize, I won the luxury of lodging in a luxurious hotel and having the be

THREE SIGNIFICANT PRINCIPLES A WRITER MUST KNOW Written By Geoffery G Ruga A political consultant. Writing as an act as well an art is a great adventure which gives the writer an amazing sense of satisfaction and fulfilment. Nevertheless, like any other art, writing demands criticality of thoughts, functionality of mind and a physiological hardwork.  In this nugget, I wish to remind, as well highlight three significant principles a writer ought to maintain for meaningful write-up.  1. Coherency: This is the ability of one maintaining a balanced, pleasing, or suitable arrangement of all the parts of his paper. Coherency plays role in making people appreciate your write-up even if it has limited skills, creativity or significance.  2. Why You Must Strive For Knowledge

Image
Written By Chukwu Ochaikedi WHY YOU MUST STRIVE FOR KNOWLEDGE  I was teaching some students some time ago. And I told them that if I See a snake entering the class and I confirm it to be a python and it isn't more than 1m. I won't run away  The Class went wild "Sir It's a lie" some  were like "Sir, I'll run o" I smirked, it's normal to be scared of snakes . So who am I to tell the class that I won't run from the snake entering their class.  Well the truth is that it isn't because the Bible said that "we would trample on snakes and scorpions"  But because I know that pythons aren't poisonous, yes they aren't and they kill their prey by crushing them and I'm also certain that a python of less than 1m won't find it so easy to crush me (at least I won't let it) Now the students are shocked.  They never knew that not all snakes are poisonous.  You see people striving when other people are driving through with out

Your Pen Is On A Mission

Image
YOUR PEN IS ON A MISSION. Written By Dada Dorcas Some writers write for pleasure, some see writing as a hobby. Many others relieve pain, depression, spread hope etc with their writings. May I ask the purpose of your pen? When your pen has a purpose to fulfill, you won't be quick to drop it during hard times. You can spread love with your pen. Yes, you can make people believe in love again. You can also stop that next suicide with your pen. So, I ask: have you been using your pen? Don't forget that it is a powerful tool in your hands. People whose pen has a purpose don't give up on it. They write day and night, in sorrows or in happiness; in tears or in joy, because their pen is on a mission. They recognize their mission and don't give up on it.  My pen is on a mission to convert 'aspiring' writers into Creative Thinkers; to help people choose their health by deciding to keep fit, and to share life-changing works in novels, poetry, and drama with the world.
