Do You Believe That Ideas Are Worthless?

Image
Do You Believe That Ideas Are Worthless? Written By Leon Ho Ideas Are Worthless That's a popular opinion nowadays, especially in the business world. Only execution counts, they say. But I don't agree with that. Because here's the thing... Idea and execution are two sides of the same coin. Neither of them can work without the other. And I can prove that. Let's say you want to build your own business. An online store. What will happen if you take action without a clear idea of what you're doing and what you want to achieve? Well, you could spend money and time without any return. Maybe the market doesn't need what you offer. Maybe the price is too high. Maybe there's no long-term potential for sustainable income. You see, good ideas are based on research. On calculation. If you rush them and start too soon, you could miss the important details. For example, you might not see the obstacles. When you inevitably face them, you could get discouraged. Demotivated....

A Young Pastor Is In Pain And Confused  He Asked Me This Question This Evening. Written By Orji Victor CP "Sir, my father didn't honour my wedding or even call, text or make a post of congratulations to us on facebook just because I followed my mother and not him after both divorced and remarried respectively. Sir, I informed him when we started the process of getting married, he refused to get himself involved in anyway, saying that I followed my mother.  If not his elder brother who took it upon his head to see that my marriage worked, my wife's people would have refused me marrying their daughter. Sir, I have lived with this pain and it us affecting my love and relationship with him, what my father did, is it good and if I cut off from him completely did I do anything wrong? Advice me sir." Please, use the comment box to send in your advice to him, he will read it. Thanks ©️Orji Victor CP

WHERE IS YOUR CONFIDENCE?

Image
Written By Orji Victor CP  Everyone has what he/she trust in. Some in God/light. Some in gods/darkness. Some in themselves. Some in their acquisitions. > Your victory over whatever that is facing you will be determined by who/what you put your trust in or who they have confidence in. WHERE IS YOUR CONFIDENCE? Because we trust in God Almighty, the maker of all things, may we never be defeated in this life's journey and may we never be put to shame now and always, in Jesus name, Amen. ©️Orji Victor CP #pstorjivictorcp

Is Procrastination A Mental Illness?

Image
Is Procrastination A Mental  Illness? Written By Leon Ho If you procrastinate, you might feel powerless. Even though you tell yourself a million times "I should get started", you don't – until the very last moment. Or you even postpone things indefinitely. In any case, you feel that procrastination has a grip on you, a grip so strong you can't loosen it. In the worst case, you might feel it has completely taken over your life. Just like mental illness does. But here's the thing: if you feel that way, you're not alone. My good friend from high school once told me about his struggle with procrastination. The challenges he had were brutal and intense. He was procrastinating at his job until the list of tasks became so big and the level of stress so high that he couldn't work at all. What started as a productivity issue quickly transformed into an emergency. I wasn't able to help him with procrastination because all of this had happened before Lifehack. ...

THINGS I WANTED TO SAY BUT NEVER DID UNTIL NOW.

THINGS I WANTED TO SAY BUT NEVER DID UNTIL NOW. Written By Felix Olokede One thing I had to fight after my admission into the senior secondary school was the fear of not living up to expectations. For the first time in my life, I started to feel insecure about my intellectual prowess. This fear emanated from the fact that I left a school where I was one of the top three students on a consistent basis to another where 90% of the incoming students were prominent intellectual individuals from educational institutions better than the environment I was coming from. _ After a while, I discovered some unwanted elements had gained access into my mind. I began to doubt if I really belonged to the class of students in the school. The confidence in my competence went AWOL and I began to berate my performances. I was doing well in my subjects but the more I accomplished, the more I felt it was an undeserved reputation. It took me almost two years to admit my struggle with the impostor syndro...

How To Get Over Your Limiting Beliefs And Found Success

Image
How To Get Over Your Limiting Beliefs And Found Success Written By Leon Ho Do you remember when you were a child, friend? Back then, we thought anything was possible. We had big dreams of what we would be when we grew up. Nothing was impossible. We were fearless, and let our curiosity take us to new places. We were eager to get to know the world and have new experiences every day. We didn't think we weren't good enough. We didn't think that what we wanted was too hard. It was our dream, and we would do anything to make it happen! However, things started to change... We grew older. We were introduced to an unending list of rules. We learned there were things we couldn't say. Things we shouldn't do. Without realizing it, we created limiting beliefs for ourselves. We were told we should marry young, go to college, and find a steady job at a good company. And we accepted that. Without knowing it, we were giving up on our dreams. That man who once wanted to become a ...
