How To Sell More And Make More
🤾🤽🤼🤸
All customers are not the same.
Some customers are worth much more than others. And they’re willing to pay a higher price, and buy more from you.
This type of customer does not focus on price. They focus on value.
And if you can offer them the value they’re looking for, they don’t mind paying a higher price.
Before I tell you more, I have a quick announcement to share.
If you’ve not yet joined the Facebook group, you’re missing out.
This week, I was invited to deliver a virtual keynote presentation at the Nigeria edition of the Forbes Digital Startup Accelerator.
There’s a lot of news, tips and interesting stuff that can’t wait until my Friday emails.
You have nothing to lose. Joining the group is free and improves the interaction between me and my audience.
You will find the link to join the group at the bottom of this email.
Now, back to the topic of today’s lesson:
All customers are not the same.
I’ll give you an interesting example.
On a plane flying from Lagos to London, there are three types of customers.
The first is an economy customer. They pay the lowest price to get a seat on the plane.
The second is a business customer. They pay up to 2x or 3x the price of an economy passenger.
And there is the first class customer. They may pay up to 5x the price of an economy passenger.
But there is something interesting going on.
All the passengers on that plane will get to London.
Everybody will reach the same destination.
So, why are some customers willing to pay many times more than the standard price for an economy seat?
The answer: it’s not about the price.
It’s about their perception of value.
Value is not just about price. It is MUCH MORE than price.
In this week’s episode of the Smallstarter Business Podcast, I explore the strategies you can use to sell more and make more from your customer base.
A lot of businesses leave money on the table because they treat all their customers the same.
Never forget. All customers are not the same.
You’re going to learn some interesting things from this.
And don't forget to share this with your smart friends.
Have a great weekend.
Regards,
John-Paul
