These books cut across different areas of life; church, finances, relationships, motivation, health. Name them. They are books I bought with my money. Many of them were bought with money meant for food. Many others were bought with money meant for clothes. Practically speaking, at the point of payment for some of them in bookstores, I shed tears. Real tears, not crocodile tears. Releasing the money (which I didn't even have) was a huge sacrifice. It was like Abraham giving out Isaac. And if you must, please don't compete/compare yourself to those people that inherited houses, shops, wealth, money, lands, cars and quality connections from their parents or spouses. This kind of people didn't start from the scratch  like you who all you have now you worked for through the grace of God. You go break yourself in pieces and might die of depression, if you envy, jealous or compare yourself to them. They are enjoying what they did not actually labour for. Don't even listen to their bad mouth too, they can insult anyone they think that they are better off. They don't know the pain of making it from the  scratch without any support or inheritance.   Written By Alexander Wisdom SMALL THINGS AFFECT PEOPLE OF SMALL MINDS! A man was standing in the queue, waiting his turn to withdraw some money from the Automated Teller Machine (ATM). After it got to his turn to withdraw, suddenly, the machine brought out a notification that reads: 'temporarily unable to dispense cash' Gbam!!! this man angrily slammed some of the operating buttons of the machine. Everybody was shocked at his lack of self-control. Some fellow started rebuking him for his inattitude, but he never showed any sign of remorse.  Interestingly, one of the security personnel walked up to the ATM area to observe the extent of the damage. After thorough examination of the machine it was observed that some key buttons had been rendered inoperative. At long last, we were all advised to leave and use other banks.   Written By Mowete Kevin DON'T BE A FAMILIAR FRIEND, BE A CLOSE FRIEND! "Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me." (Psalm 41:9) It wasn't really Judas that betrayed Jesus, it was the familiarity in him that betrayed Jesus. Familiarity is a function of betrayal. The Word of God can betray your worth in Christ if built upon the template of familiarity. So, Jesus called His disciples friends because they had access to His deep secrets, only Judas among them was a familiar friend which was excommunicated from the group and was denied access to the deep things of God.  Even if you have a close friend as a mentor to you, don't build familiarity otherwise you will deny yourself of the portraits of the wisdom and shortchange yourself from the nuggets that proceeds out from the loins. When you remain at the floor when you fall in anything, when you go ahead looking for the devil, human or Government to blame. Rising up will never be a possibility.
