 One Of My Challenging Time In Ministry.

One day, 3 Men walked into the Church premises to see me.

As I came out and greeted them, the next thing I heard was "Pastor, tell my wife who is your member to come back to our own Church, when someone goes to hospital and get healed, she needs to go back home"

I was surprised and asked who they were talking about.

One of them introduced himself as a pastor and said "the woman is Mrs ....... and this Man here is her husband and my own town Person, we were sent to come and meet you so you can tell her to leave your Church and go back to their family Church, the woman came to your church because she was having liver decay and kidney problems which defiled medical treatment and there was no money to fly her abroad, she was told at the hospital that she won't last longer".

The husband now continued "I allowed her to come to your Church because someone told us how God used you to heal someone of a similar condition in the time past, now she is healed and this is almost 5 years now, she is strong and healthy, no more symptoms or taking drugs, is it not time you tell her to go back to her husband's church?"

I kept quite for like 10 minutes because I was angry and I don't want to say anything bad to Elders.

Later I said "Sirs, did any of you see me in your house inviting your wife to the Church?, They said no

Did your wife tell you that I told her not to go back to where she came from?, They said no.

Did you hear from anyone that this Church is a hospital?, They said no

Pls, sir, here is a family and not a hospital.

Oga husband, instead of you to come with somethings to come and do Thanksgiving for God using his son to heal your wife, you are here dragging religion.

Well, I am not holding your wife or anyone for that matter, if your wife wants to leave us, she is 100% free to do so, Sir.

The pastor among them, thanked me for the wisdom I used and till today he is still my good friend and the family loves me so much.

Do you know the good news, the woman is still one of us till date and the husband is a regular visitor to the church anytime we have a Programme.

That encounter that took place about 12 years ago killed religious seed out of that family.

God still heals and place of worship is people's choice.

Whatever illness troubling you now, as you have done the needful by visiting medical hospital and the sickness refused to go, receive divine touch now that will result to a complete healing now, in Jesus name, Amen

You are healed now.
