Yesterday, I was going home together with my colleague after work. When we got to her junction where she alights, she told the driver to go forward.


I was surprised, so I asked her why, she said there is a woman that sells bags and shoes at that junction that always disturbs her every day to come and buy. And she doesn't want to buy yet she will be disturbing, telling her to just come and see the goods even if she doesn't want to buy.


That makes her avoid following that place anytime she is coming or going out. She will rather follow the back just to avoid her disturbance.


That is what so many product sellers and business owners have turned to. Their ideal customers now see them as "Disturbance" because you always tell them to buy every day.


Your content is not making people buy from you because they see you as a disturbance. From Monday to Friday you are telling them to buy this, buy that. They are not getting anything from you because they believe it's only their money you so much after, so they will avoid you.


Content is meant to be educative, entertaining, engaging, and not selling every day. Humans don't like it when they perceived you're gaining from them. They want to be the ones who always benefits and that is what your content is meant to do - to provide solutions that will solve their problems.


Tips to help you create a good content


∆. Talk about their problems.


∆. Talk about how you or someone you know had a similar problem.


∆. Talk about the process you followed to solve the problem


∆. Give them few steps on how to begin their journey to solve the same problem


Then watch them rushing to your DM to ask for more.  


Be genuinely concerned about their challenges and be willing to help.


I remember when I started, my main focus was to make money so every day I was always telling people to buy and they were not buying. I was almost frustrated because I wasn't seeing any results.


But the moment I started putting them first, people started coming.


I made a video that talked about being *VALUE ORIENTED & NOT MONEY ORIENTED*


Don't chase money, chase value. That way, you will always create content that will make your customers buy.
