CREATING POSITIVE ENERGY IN THE WORKPLACE!

CREATING POSITIVE ENERGY IN THE WORKPLACE!

I was at a retail store recently where two staff were pointing fingers at each other in a bout of anger. I stood transfixed as I began to wonder what on earth would have caused such an argument or disagreement, most especially in the workplace.

In response to this event, I had to do a quick research to find out possible ways of how staff and colleagues at work can relate positively with each other in such a friendly, cordial and productive manner. And here are my top three findings:

1. Drop the entitlement mentality!

Promotion is always based on level of productivity  and profitability. So, if a junior colleague is promoted above you, then there should be something unique you have to humbly learn from that fellow who just got promoted. There's no need feeling jealous and envious.

2. Work with the company's goal in mind.

If every employee or staff will embody and incorporate the company's goal into their daily work, then there shouldn't be any reason for the envy, jealousy, hatred, gossip, malice and resentment we see today at various offices and department. The company's goal should always be our focus in everything we desire and wish to do.

3. Work as a team and not as a tick!

Apple is considered as one of the most successful technological company, because the team spirit among members of staff is simply amazing. Thesame applies to Microsoft, Ford motors and Samsung.

Be willing to work as a team and not as a tick!

If you bite and pierce others because of jealousy and hatred, you will poison the work environment and make the whole place unproductive and unsuitable for profitable outcomes. In working as a team, you will discover that a win for one is a win for all! And since the credit goes to all, productivity level of each staff will increase and the motivation to be excellent at work will be high too!
