WHEN WILL YOU MAKE IT?
WHEN WILL YOU MAKE IT?

Over time, I have asked myself thought-provoking questions related to placing my age alongside my impact to measure how valuable I am to people, how I handle my finances and several other questions capable of gearing me to be the best version of myself.
The fact remains that I feel I don't have the right answers to these questions yet, if I am being candid.
David Oyedepo, the presiding Bishop of Living Faith Church said 'you're getting too old for a star, so get up to your feet and aim at it now.' Hello dear! How old are you now? Averagely, let's assume you're within the range of 18 - 22. Yet you have no serious determination and desire to succeed, you're cheating and as well killing yourself. You won't be young forever.
The star is presumed to be tiny by many but scientists measure how big it is when you're close... Your aspiration may look tiny or minute but you need to understand that the closer you get to your life aspiration (s), the bigger they become. You need to wake up from your slumber and strive to start developing and executing your goals as soon as you can because time truly is the unit of destiny.
Do you know why some folks don't succeed? It's because they give up on everything - giving in too soon. Life doesn't work that way. Life is not always automatic. Don't anticipate to strike once and expect you'd hit the gold mine so easily. No way! Your tenacity to strike again and again is a pointer to your desire to become all you were created to be.
Paul Adefarasin, the Senior Pastor of House On The Rock once said, failure precedes wisdom. This implies that a man tends to know what to do and how to do what to do when he has gone through a form of failure or shortcoming at some point in time. Failure teaches you how to succeed. When you've learnt and grown through failures, then you've got the lesson to succeed because failure is a teacher and success is an achievement.
A man within the range of fifty to sixt -year old and above can no longer enrol for playing professional football, he can only do it for fun but not for making money any more, all. Also, nobody would put a man around sixty year old into a ring to wrestle with a young man of 30 year old. So the question is, when do you really intend to break out and fulfil your potential? The strength you have during your early stages of life can never be the same in twenty years to come.
You'd have discovered that the fibres in your body has shrinked. Therefore, the early you identify who you're, the greater the likelihood of your chances of being fulfilled in life.
I got some valuable insights during my conversation with some of my peers. I love to sustain meaningful interactions. I like 'digging out' from their wells of experience and wisdom.
One of my friends shared with me sometime back on the reason why he had to quit his business enterprise. The reason being that he got duped by some individuals. 'I am not interested in this business any more', he said emphatically. My appeal to change his mind fell into deaf ears.
Yet there are people doing well and earning good bucks for themselves in this same line of business my friend had given up on.
When you lack a vision, any challenge faced will be too big to continue. Learn perseverance, patience and keep growing. Great men like Mike Adenuga, Aliko Dangote, Folorunsho Alakija, Femi Otedola (just to mention a few) have had rough patches at some time, yet they are still relevant today because they didn't give in.
Talking about Femi Otedola down, in 2008, a one million container of tons of diesel set that belongs to his company heading for the sea shores of Nigeria was wrecked. He was in a debt worth $1.2billion. He thought of suicide at some point but later got rid of that thought and chose to stay firm.
"Can we continue to receive good thing like everyday without not receiving a bad one?", that was the anchor statement Job used in the bible when his wife asked him to curse God and die.
Otedola faced it, managed it, worked it out and moved on with his business. And today he's been rated in Nigeria by Forbes as one of the top business moguls and richest men in Nigeria.
If he had given up as a result of the downfall his business experienced in 2008, do you think Forbes would have recognized him today? … Don't quit because you fail three times, try the fourth time and if it doesn't work out, don't stop trying.
Don't fear, move forward. Don't stop, propel forward. Don't look back, advance. Don't complain, keep trying. When you feel, weep and wipe your tears honorably and advance till. The only motion you're permitted to be on is the forward and upward.
Conclusively, permit me to remind you that it's not too late yet. Irrespective of your age, background or any circumstances you've been through, your dreams are still valid and attainable.
