SOME PRINCIPLES I LEARNT FROM MY MOTHER AND I KEEP THEM TILL TODAY:-

1. Do not punish your child or your house help with starvation because if you do, you will end up teaching them to steal.

2. Do not serve your house help a different food from what you and your Children are eating because you will teach them to steal if you do.

3. When your Child tells you the truth by reporting himself or herself when he or she does something bad, do not beat him or her because if you do, you will teach him or her to start telling lies.

4. Do not lock your child or house help outside because he or she did something bad, beat, punish if necessary but don't lock the person outside, mostly in the night because, if you do, you will end up teaching the Child to hate you.

5. Do not treat your house help differently from your Children because he or she has become yours immediately he or she comes under your roof.
