IS THERE ANYTHING LIKE CONSEQUENCES OF SINS AFTER BEING BORN AGAIN?


According to the book of Hebrew 8: 12 Kjv says; FOR I WILL BE MERCIFUL TO THEIR UNRIGHTEOUSNESS AND THEIR SINS AND THEIT INQUITIES WILL I REMEMBER NO MORE.

Thus, it is clear that God will not hold your past sins committed before salvation against you if you confessed them. 1 John 1: 9


However,  even though the price for our sins committed before salvation has been paid and we were made free from sin, it doesn't mean there are no consequences at all.


The REMISSION of sins is not same as being free of the CONSEQUENCES of sins.


Once we are saved, God forgives our sins and promises to remember it no more. Its like an acquital in court where the judges declares us not guilty- GOD WILL NO LONGER PUNISH US WITH DEATH IN HELL FOR OUR SINS.


But being  right with God doesn't necessarily mean we are being made right with Men. If you committed murder, even if you have become a Christian after and thus in the eyes of the Lord, our sins are forgiven by God, this doesn't mean that you should not serve the punishment in jail for your crime.


Eg. If one had pre marital sex before he was saved, there will be consequences that he will carry with him such as STDs. If this disease not discovered on time can lead to inability to impregnate a woman. BEING BORN AGAIN DIDN'T REMOVE THE CONSEQUENCES OF THAT SIN OF SEXUAL ACT rather GRACE can locate him through Knowledge on how to get cured.


Galatians 6: 7 says Do not be deceived, God is not mocked whatever a man sows same he will reap...

      By Michael C.Onah A guy shared with me in my closed some time back    about a fair pretty lady who one stupid    and  callous man    that called himself a boss    wants to take advantage of her first before he could proceed further in the job application he wants    to give to her while in his office campaigning with her. What’s the pay check a month? That the fair one has to sell her dignity to a man who is not her rightful husband? Now thank God for the lady she didn’t succumbed to his take, ‘To hell with you and your dirty job I’m a cost product in Jesus I’m not cheap for you or like other girls who are desperate for something…’    She bounced out from his office, keeping the boss in hell thought of his life. If it were to be some other ladies they will hastily succumbed and the job will be granted to them. All this boils down to; your boss is a challenge to you. If that lady had something on her own doing she wouldn’t have experienced such blast all her life.   H
