2. Love is the only force that won't die with time if the right principles are practiced.


3. The relationship must increasingly become easier to run. The harder a relationship gets, the clearer it is that wisdom is lacking in it.


4. Most people who do badly in marriage are those who feel they know what they actually don't know; so they approach marriage with that kind of arrogance that expels the humility of learning.


5. A foolish man expects his wife to find submission easy when he himself has refused to find it easy to submit to God and when his leadership is poor.


6. A foolish woman sees the God ordained concept of submission as oppression and focuses more on competing with her man than complementing him.


7. You want to compete with your partner? Too bad, you don't even know the spelling of 'union'


8. You should complement and balance each other.


9. None of you has it all and can have it all until you both understand that you are greater together.


10. A lot of people don't even know that the atmosphere of their marriage is just the harvest for how they treat their partner!


11. God will not miraculously make your marriage sweet when you are tenaciously holding onto the habits that introduce bitterness in it.


12. When your head is spinning with ideas of how to 'get back at them', 'hurt them back', 'get even' or 'make them see my other side' kind of ideas, you have simply submitted yourself to satan's tutorial. Those ideas are jotted into your brain from his lecture notes.


13. Feeling normal when your spouse is feeling hurt is #NotNormal


14. Beating your woman or man because you have the muscles or insulting them because you have the voice is #NotNormal


15. You may not be perfect indeed but if you are married and not considerate, and act regardless of your spouse's emotions. It is extremely #NotNormal


16. When you hear phrases like 'marriage is not easy', you just want to be told which portion of the bible that is written, because that is #NotNormal if we aligned with God's order.


17. Make it work, be deliberate and create what makes sense.
