WHERE IS MY BRIDESMAID?

I started today with an unspeakable joy in my heart. But I ended the day in great sorrow that no one can erase. 

 I was  very glad because today, my name was going to be changed from Miss Adebayo to Mrs Omolade. 

And tonight, the barrier will be removed. Did I say tonight? 

The chemistry between my husband and I increased. Our eyes were locked in the ocean of love. Our eyes were filled with passion. 

"Well, tonight, no more hindrances. Dele is now mine". were the thoughts that flooded  my mind. 

After saying "I do" in the church, we proceeded to the reception hall. 

We danced as King David danced. 

My bridesmaid was all over me. Tinuke assisted me in adjusting my wedding gown. She was just the best. 

"Tinuke, the heat is too much for me. Please get me my hand fan", I whispered to her. 

Lo and behold, as she was handing the hand fan over  to me, it was as if she disappeared. I couldn't see her again. 

"Tinuke! , T-i-n-u-k-e!!", I screamed but I did not hear anything from her. My husband was also worried.

 "How will Tinuke disappear. Or is she a witch? " , my husband asked. 

Then we heard some noise at the back of the hall. Mr Gbade, Dayo, Jumoke are missing. 

I went to meet my pastor. I asked him to pray for us because it was as if my marriage today was turning out to be sour. 

 "Pastor please pray for us" . I said. But the next thing I saw were tears on my Pastor's face. 

He said rapture has happened. I went to meet my choir mistress, who I could guarantee was a sound Christian. I met her also weeping.

 Every where was littered with tears and screams. Some were rolling on the ground. 

Then it dawn on me that rapture has happened. 

"Oh!" then I remembered that 3 minutes premarital sex my husband and I had. I remembered those lies I told. I remembered those secret sins I indulged in. 

 I went to meet my husband, only to see him in tears. "Sade, I did not want to sleep with you a day before our wedding, but you tempted me. Ah! , I allowed self to rule over me" . He lamented. 

I wept bitterly. I went over to where  my pastor was only to hear him saying "Ah, I served God faithfully. It was just the evil imaginations I had few hours ago today that hindered me." 

My choir mistress was screaming at  the top of her voice, she said  if she had known, she wouldn't have joined the marine kingdom in search of power. 

When I remembered antichrist will soon come to take over, I did not know when I removed my wedding gown .I removed my shoes, wristwatch.

 I removed my wedding gown and I started to run and walk at the same time like a mad woman out of the hall. A lady who was a prostitute saw me. 

"Sister, you have been telling me about the kingdom of God, but why did you miss rapture? "she asked mockingly. 

" So we are now the same". She said. 

Haaaa! , I have missed it. After serving God for fifteen years, premarital sex spoiled my testimony. Secret sins hindered me.

My dear readers, rapture will happen in a twinkling of an eye.

 It will come as a thief in the night. It will come when we are least expecting it.

How prepared are you? If rapture takes place now, will you go? 

Where will you be at the end of your journey on earth? 

If you have not given your life to Christ, do that now. Repent from your sins before it is too late. 

If you are a backslider, it's high time you traced your steps back to calvary. 

If you are still standing, stand watchfully and prayerfully. 

Beloved, we must be watchful and prayerful. We must always be prepared because the day of Christ coming is at hand.
