I USED TO BE SCARED OF THE FUTURE.

I had always had dreams of becoming great right from when I was a kid, I dreamed of a life where I'll be able to have anything I need at my beck and call. 

The only challenge I had was a thought that seldom visits me: a strange feeling that my dreams might not come true.

That thought which culminated into a strange feeling made me a little scared and insecure about the future.

Prayers of breaking generational curses and breaking demonic covenants was so intense.

I was always on a look out, working hard on myself spiritually in much prayers and often fasting, fighting my fears of not becoming great in the future.

At a point in my life I got tired of breaking generational curses and demonic covenants my forefathers might have entered on my behalf. 

I know a lot of those reading this post now can relate.

One day upon the study of God's word I made a discovery that eliminated my fears forever.

Colossians 2:13-15

13] And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision  of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses,

14] HAVING WIPED OUT THE HANDWRITING OF REQUIREMENTS AGAINST US, WHICH WAS CONTRARY TO US. AND HE HAS TAKING IT OUT OF THE WAY, HAVING NAILED IT TO THE CROSS.

15] Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them triumphing over them in it. 

Light broke forth from that scripture, I realised that in Christ everything the devil could have had against me was wiped out, every strong case Satan had against me was disannulled through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus.

Jesus didn't only disannulled the case the devil had against me, He also made a serious public spectacle of Satan and his cohorts.

When I saw that mystery, I stood up and declared "I CAN NEVER BE LIMITED, JESUS HAS REMOVED AND RIDICULED EVERY FORCE THAT MIGHT WANT TO LIMIT ME"

From that moment on, I faced the future with Confidence, knowing fully well that nothing has the power to hold me back anymore except the one I permit.

I further learned that I have to arm myself with daily preparation for the great future I see,

A demonic alter somewhere should and will never be blamed for my not rising.

If People like Bishop Oyedepo, Pastor Paul and other notable men of God could rise beyond such limitations, why won't I? I'm also complete in Christ.

If I'm not getting anything right, it simply means that I need more learning in that area. 

This is my commitment in life now: to keep working hard; learning daily till I arrive at the future I see.
