Her Life Was Starting To Get Monotonous

Her Life Was Starting To Get Monotonous

Have you ever felt like you're living a monotonous life?

Writer By Leon Ho

Every day is predictable.

Same routine.

Same things to do.

It gets to a point where you don't have any motivation left to do anything important with your life.

That's exactly what happened to one of my students.

Her name is Laura.

Laura is a Sales Professional in London.

Her job was quite demanding. It required a lot of flexibility and to adapt quickly to different situations.

When she got home, things were different though.

She had the same routine every single day.

She would get home, eat some dinner, watch her favorite TV show on Netflix, and then go to sleep.

Every. Single. Day.

So, she decided to change things up a little and learn something new as a hobby.

She always wanted to learn Spanish, so she started learning by herself after she got home from work.

The only problem was that it was really hard for her to learn new things.

So hard that it took all the fun out of learning.

She was learning Spanish to relax and forget about work.

Instead, it felt like she was studying to get a master's degree.

Everything seemed like an uphill battle.

It got to a point where she just wanted to quit.

Her old routine didn't look so bad anymore.

At least there, she wouldn't be as stressed.

She knew she needed to stay committed, but just couldn't take it anymore.

She was burning out.

Still, she knew deep down things couldn't be this way.

There had to be a way to make learning fun.

She just didn't know what she was doing wrong...

That's when she came to me for help.

So, we started going through the methods and systems she was using to learn Spanish.

That's when we found something interesting...

The reason why learning Spanish was just not working for her.

She had been using the wrong learning style all along!

So far, she had just been trying to learn to get everything from textbooks.

Just a bunch of boring grammar rules and vocabulary...

This didn't match with her at all.

We realized her learning needed to be more interactive, not this exhausting routine.

So, she changed the way she was studying.

Instead of relying on textbooks, she started doing fun things.

She started watching Spanish TV shows on Netflix.

She listened to music from Latin America and studied the lyrics of different songs.

Also, she went online and made a friend from Colombia to force herself to put into practice everything she was learning.

Doing this was the best decision she could've ever made.

Now, she was excited about learning Spanish!

Every day, she would get home from work excited for the new things she would learn that day.

It didn't feel like work anymore.

Now, she enjoyed every part of it.

She was now learning a valuable skill and having fun in the process.

That's what happens when you find your unique learning style.

To help you find yours, I wrote the Learn Anything Fast Handbook.

Inside this book, you'll learn the secrets to make learning work for you and master new skills effortlessly.
