I'm curious to know if you've noticed any changes to your eating habits this year..
I know, I know, it might sound like a strange question to ask.. but with the waves of lockdown happening throughout the year, it's caused inconvenience for many.
Grocery stores have been wiped out, or people have not been able to make it out. Restaurants are either shut or operating timings have been reduced.
Many have ended up cooking at home, or having to make do with basic ingredients and whatever's available at the supermarket.
Others have turned to meal plans or food delivery.
For some, the upside is that it's been a chance to use the kitchen again. For others, it's become a downhill of take aways and snacking or binge eating due to being home all the time.
Now you see where I'm going with this?
Our eating habits during lockdown has changed.. and really, this is just one other aspect of how the lockdown has changed us. Things that we would otherwise have left to professionals, we're doing now.
Like baking bread, pickling kimchi, whipping your own coffee...
So really, I hope you've taken this year to seize every moment you have! Because boy does it change real quick!
There is more flexibility if you're working from home to schedule in things you would never have done before. Not being able to go out as much leaves you with more time to try out new routines that you might otherwise never have started.
Exercising? Meditation? Deep breathing? Starting a gratitude journal? Calling a friend every mid week? The options are endless.
Just as how the world has changed drastically this year, is exactly THE moment for us to shake out of what we're so used to doing.
Give yourself the opportunity now to get started on something you've been wanting to do, or something new that can bring about a new experience in your life for the better.
So whether it's something as simple as wanting to cook more at home...wanting to lose a few pounds, wanting to start reading regularly, wanting to upgrade your skills..
Use that one commodity that is still in ample supply: Time.
And, you can
check out this 3 week action program that has helped so many overcome their struggle of getting started and finishing through with their goal.
Cheers,
Leon
