What Does Success Mean To You?

BBy Leon From lifehack

Hi Friends 😂😁🤠
If you've been following my emails in the past weeks, you'll know that I've been touching on the topic of stay home activities and things that people are doing now that they're spending more time at home.

It can be quite an adjustment for some. Especially those who are used to being out all the time and spending little time at home. I can imagine it must be quite the change!

So in last week's email titled "How to keep the family sane now that everyone's home 24/7", I received some wonderful responses so as usual, I want to share them here so that everyone gets to see what others are doing, and hopefully it can inspire you to try these activities with your family at home too!
"My family and I followed your article's advice (How to Strengthen Family Bonds), and started playing board games together. This has brought us more together as a family, so thank you for sharing this article with us! We also watch TV together at night, and somehow (I don't know how) this has brought us more together as well."
Soham S.

"Well for me I'm relaxing and enjoying my quality time with my children. They have matured so much as we shared our thoughts about this pandemic. I'm also happy to say they actually put their phones, and other electronic devices away for about 2 hours a day. Yay😁...I feel this virus was a TEST bc we where running full speed with our busy lives. We forgot about taking time for ourselves and family life...whatever the near future holds I pray this will become our new normal..."

"For my family, we get to talk a lot and know each other better which I'm so grateful for."
Diana K.

As for myself, I've mentioned last week that I started baking with my sons (yes I'm still practicing that skill! 💪🏼) and it's been a fun experience that definitely fosters a closer relationship.

It's comforting knowing that the best thing that's happened so far whilst being in isolation, is that families and loved ones are brought closer together.

But once things start to resume, how can we ensure that this closeness or new bonds forged remain?

Will you intentionally set aside some time during the week to bond and hang out as a family?

A big part of what defines my success in life is attributed to my family.

Sure, my business, coaching and mentoring, and other aspects are important and do contribute to my happiness, but my family plays the biggest role. And I have no regrets in putting that first.
