Is Time Running Out And You're Still Unaccomplished?

By Leon

Why don't you take just 2 minutes now to think about your life at present.

Are you where you'd like to be?

In your relationships - with your parents, your kids, your partner, your friends

In your health - your weight, your fitness level, your diet

In your career - your job satisfaction, your career progression, your growth

In your finances - your savings for a home, college tuition, marriage, retirement

In your personal development - your happiness, your satisfaction with life,

If you have a little more time to spare, why not jot some thoughts down so you can look at them at a later time?
  1. What's lacking?
  2. what would you like to see happen?
  3. what do you need to do in order to realize those desires?

Have you made some notes?

Are you suddenly overwhelmed? Maybe there might actually be a lot that you haven't yet realized...

Maybe you can now tell that one or more aspect of your life is severely lacking or needs change.

I'm giving you this exercise not to scare you, but rather to give you some awareness of the potential that you have with your life.

No matter what stage of life you're in, it's inevitable that we get caught up in the moment...we let our responsibilities and day to day tasks and routines get in the way of looking at the bigger picture.

We're busy, we're distracted, we have other more urgent matters to attend, than to self reflect.

But if this exercise has given you some sort of wake up call, and you'd like to make some changes happen, then know that it's not too late!

Time is NOT running out.
And I can show you how to get back on track, no matter who or where you are in life.
I can help you set your eyes on the prize and gain focus again.

Focus on those desires that you've thought about or have written down.

It's not impossible and it's definitely not too late.

Look at actor Alan Rickman, or most of you may know him as Professor Severus Snape.

He wasn't always successful.

He took a degree in arts because he said that drama school wasn’t necessarily the sensible thing to do at 18. That led him to become a graphic designer.

He then opened a graphic design studio but ultimately decided to drop the business and pursue acting professionally.

He supported himself by working as a dresser for other actors. He got his acting break when he was cast as one of the leads in the stage version of Les Liaisons Dangereuse.

The play was a hit and made a leap on the big screen. Unfortunately, he was replaced by another actor.

His passion and perseverance for acting served him well through various roles given. And he was 42 years old when he took the role of Professor Severus Snape of the Harry Potter series.

So whatever change you'd like to see happen in your life, know that something can be done to move you closer to making that happen.

And if you're interested, I can show you just how to get started.

Check in for tomorrow's email as I drill deeper into this!
